Limo Trip

It was indeed a Dream come true trip on a Limo to SFO... It all started with the Boys planning a trip to Livermoore for Wine Tasting...The Girls did not get too excited about the wine, but it was the Limo.. So the planning starting in one of the Kathiadi's @ Ronav's b'day party, Yes the decision was made and the date was finalized.
With the Party Planner hats on, the next deal was to reach out to Vina to see how he could help us get the right Limo with the Right driver to get to our destination, And so the Limo was booked for Sat Nov19th...
Destination was SFO, and now to the food choices.. Started with Vegan and ended with Thai-- due to No Rabbit food allowed criteria...
Then came the rest of the planning what else could we do there.. window shopping no that's a too much of time to waste with a Limo waiting for us..
So Decision final and counting days and finally the day arrived with a first drop out the Main planner and then Sree and Vinaya...
To the Surprise of all the other Kathiadi gang.. the Planner showed up bright and early...
Well not to talk about how early few other Kathiadi team members woke up to get dressed to be at their best on a Girls day out..
Sree joined us for a Foto shoot before we start of on our journey to SFO...
And one other rule that had to be noted.. and special instructions given to Vinay was Non Malayali driver:-) and mission was accomplished.
So off we are to SFO.. first was checking out the Limo and the drinks...we saw the Champagne and reading the label top/down/bottoms/up decided it had alcohol and thought a diet coke might be a better choice, so we took out 9 glasses and filled it 3/4 with diet coke and with cheers on US101N started off our journey.. looking @ the watch Sheeja was tensed it was already 11:40 and we were half way our journey.. What will happen to our reservation @ OSHA THAI... well lets call them and inform them to move the reservation to 12:30.. Done.
First stop reached ... OSHA THAI.. what a serene, calm and beautiful atmosphere .. Thanks to my friend Munraj for the choice..Ordering started with appetizers, Samosas(interesting in a Thai restuarant),Spring Rolls(fried for sure),Angel Wings,Chicken Satay...
Soup Was next in Menu
and the Main course ordered included Pad Thai,Pan Fried Noodles,Vegetable Fried Rice,Roti Parathas(got a shock to see the size),Yellow Curry with Coconut Rice, Five star chicken curry(Not sure if I got the name right)...
Geez was that enough food.. Lets order some more.. Maybe one more Pad Thai and few more Roti Parathas...we will save our cravings for sweet for later..
After this AJ Ji (Limo Driver) mentioned we could go to Ghiradelli Square on Union Square to take a stroll and take few pictures... and ofcourse who doesnt want to have a Coffee @ Ghiradelli's:-)
Now came the turn for some shopping for the kids for cup cakes @ Kara's Cup cakes...
And then getting ready to go to Golden Gate bridge.. but Preethy reminded about the Ice cream she wanted to have.. so we got a Butter scotch specially for her..
And then with the last picture taken in front of our Limo we started our trip to the Golden Gate bridge(Vista Point)
Boy o Boy.. how many times have I been there.. still this place is beats everything...
Group pictures.. Pictures in 3's, 2's and ofcourse with Radhika before she leaves for India:-) I am sure she might change her mind :-)
And heading back home eating the ice cream was fun..
And planning our next get together in 4 days ended the Girls Day out...
